Beanstream Launches Visa Checkout To Canadian Merchant Base

Beanstream, a Bambora Company, announced today that its e-commerce platform is now bringing Visa Checkout to thousands of merchants across Canada.

Beanstream – a leading payment platform with over fifteen years of experience in helping businesses of every size receive and make payments quickly and securely – has partnered with Visa Canada to launch Visa Checkout to Canadian merchants. Visa Checkout helps merchants improve conversions in online and mobile commerce by reducing payment friction. Consumers are able to check out and make payment seamlessly, without leaving the merchant’s website.

Beanstream enabled a few select merchants prior to the launch. One of the early adopters was the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, which is now providing Visa Checkout as a payment option to its members.

“Online payment is a growing preference for our members,” said Sharon Molly, Office Manager, Oakville Chamber of Commerce. “We are pleased to work with Beanstream to offer an innovative and frictionless online payment option.”

“Beanstream strives to simplify payments for merchants with innovative payment solutions that matter to their business and help increase sales. We see Visa Checkout as an elegant and secure payment solution for consumers purchasing on any device, and are thrilled to help bring this product to Canadian merchants” said Ryan Stewart, Beanstream’s Head of Product Development for North America.

“Visa Checkout streamlines the process of paying online, resulting in a better ecommerce experience for consumers,” said Paul Rogers, Head of Acceptance, Visa Canada. “We are pleased to see companies like Beanstream bringing the convenience of Visa Checkout to market through their extensive merchant relationships.”
